6 WEEK BLOCK

Judith Davies has a wealth of experience as a tutor and a maker. She is trained to postgrad level and exhibits her ceramic work throughout the UK, specialising in coiling and experimental methods of decoration.

The course will cover techniques of hand building, introducing methods and giving the opportunity to improve your work for more experienced makers. We will look at simple methods of decoration from impressing and carving into the clay to decorating with sgraffito technique.

Clay is available to buy at the Centre, or you can use recycled clay to practice with .

Instructions

If travelling by car, please park at Waterstone crook car park and make your way up to the centre. We have limited parking at the Centre which is reserved for blue badge holders and those with limited mobility only.

CANCELLATIONS
Refunds - can be issued up to 2 weeks before classes begin, minus a £10 booking fee.
No refunds can be offered for non-attendance .
If a course is cancelled by the Centre due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be issued with a full /pro- rata refund.

Tea and coffee is available at the Centre. If attending a day long course or workshop, please bring a packed lunch. We do not have a café.

Course ticket - for all 6 dates.
Cost of class at annual subscription rate= £86 Our annual subscription is £30 per and will give you a discount to apply against any classes taken within the year of purchase. If you would like to take out a subscription, please head back to the class schedule and purchase the subscription first. You will then be sent a confirmation email for the subscription booking with your code to redeem discount on your classes.

Wheel use only

Course ticket - for all 6 dates.
This ticket is for people proficient in wheel use that are looking to book wheel time only. This will NOT be tutored time on the wheel. There are only 4 wheel tickets, as you will be booking out a wheel for your own use for the sessions. You will still be able to glaze and fire your work as usual.
