This is a 2 hour tour starting from The entrance of Cat Nab Car Park near the Beach in the picturesque seaside village of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire.
The tour leaves from the entrance of Cat Nab Car Park (TS12 1NY) at the advertised start time so please come about 15 minutes before.
Before we reach the beach there is a short presentation explaining the safety side of fossil collecting and showing you the different fossils that we may find during our tour.
Once you are primed with this knowledge it is time to start looking through the pebbles on the beach as we travel north. Our tour guide is on hand to identify your finds and if your pebble needs splitting open to reveal the fossil inside.
The tour finishes on the beach after 2 hours.
