TRAINING DESCRIPTION

Minipally is a social skills training program for children ages 0 to 5 years old. It aims to equip childhood professionals to promote the development of basic social skills, communication skills, emotional expression, self-control and problem solving.

It offers educators in childcare settings 17 workshops intended for the children in their group. These workshops help children recognize and practice new skills. Following the workshops educators will help children progressively integrate these newly acquired skills in their daily interactions.

WHO IS THE TRAINING FOR?

The training is intented for early childhood educators and educational advisors working in childcare settings. Managers are also invited to join the training, as experience has shown that their presence contributes to successful implementation.

OBJECTIVE OF THE TRAINING

The main objective of the training is to equip professionals working with young children with the tools they need to promote the development of social skills, emotional recognition and expression, self-control, and problem-solving in children aged 0 to 5. The training also aims to provide knowledge about the theoretical foundations of the program, implementation methods, educational attitudes to promote, and methods for supporting children in their development.

At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

1. Recognize the fundamental theories supporting the Minipally program and its implementation methods.
2. Understand the successful implementation conditions of the program.
3. Understand which educational attitudes to promote.
4. Better support children in managing their emotions, developing self-control and solving their problems.
