Quilted Cat Pillow! - Ages 17 and up - For Strong Beginners

Use your favorite scraps to create an array of charming patchwork cats using this adorable pattern designed by Elizabeth Hartman! Sarah will walk you through piecing and quilting to end up with a pillow perfect for Halloween... or year round!

Supply List:

Each cat face requires (1) 4.5" wide x 4" tall piece and (2) 2" squares. These can be scraps, pieced, or all the same fabric. Make sure to bring enough fabric for (10) cat faces. Non-directional prints will be easiest to work with.

(1) 1/2 yd pillow background fabric
(1) 1/2 yd pillow backing fabric
(1) 24" x 24" piece of batting
(1) 25" x 25" piece of backing (this goes inside the pillow, it won't be seen)
(1) 1/4 yd binding fabric
20" or 21" pillow form

-Thread for piecing
-Thread for quilting
-Walking foot with guide
-Marking tool (erasable fabric pen, hera marker, etc)
-Basting spray or pins
-Small scissors
-Seam ripper
-Rotary cutter, mat, ruler

Instructor: Sarah has been quilting for 15 years, and has been longarming for clients all over the US since 2020. She loves cheerful designs, whimsical fabrics, and all the colors! Sarah's quilting work has been published in books and magazines, and she has released 3 original quilt patterns. Quilting is one of her favorite things, and she loves helping others have as much fun with it as she does! Sarah lives in Austin with her husband, son, and sewing helper cat.

o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
