Reversible Bucket Hat - Ages 16 and up - For Strong Beginners

Block out the summer sun and upgrade your sewing skills while making this adorable reversible bucket hat! In this class, Jana will teach you about working with a pattern, stitching around curves, topstitching, and how to make a project reversible.

This class is for strong beginners and beyond! Students should come with basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machines and sew a straight stitch.

Supplies:

• Pattern included: Comes in child through adult sizes with head circumference of 18"-27.5" You will use two fabrics that you'd love to wear as a hat - it's best not to use a directional print for this project. Recommended textiles: canvas, linen, chambray, light-midweight denim, quilting cotton. Please prewash and dry fabric prior to class.
• 3/4 yard Main hat fabric (A)
• 3/4 yard Main hat fabric (B)
• 1 yard Light-Midweight woven fusible interfacing
• Coordinating sewing thread
• Optional: Contrast sewing thread for topstitching
• Sewing machine with power cord, foot control, and standard accessories (or let us know if you'd like to borrow one from Beehive)
• Straight pins or clips
• Removable marking tool
• Fabric scissors or Rotary cutter/pattern weights
• Measuring tape
• Hand sewing needle

o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
