These short courses are designed for students interested in learning the fundamentals of photography’s three most infamous genres. You will extend your knowledge of digital photography with the potential to create and resolve a small photographic series. All levels of knowledge and experience are welcome, but students must have access to a digital camera, a computer and preferably a tripod.
Bring camera, tripod, pencil, notebook.... and lunch!

This one-day Saturday workshop is an introduction to the genre and art of the still life photograph. Participants will learn technical and aesthetic fundamentals photographing the object, with a focus on refining individual skill with a curiosity to expand upon photographic experimentation.

Topics to be covered include selection, framing, compositional arrangements, colour, light and form, as well as specific discussions relating to photographing still life set-ups and concepts.
