Title: Navigating Conflict in the School Environment: A Two-Part Webinar Series Course
Date: Thursday, 8th January 2026 and Thursday, 15th January 2025
Time: 18:00-19:00
Format: Two-part online webinar series (each session: 1 hour).

Target Audience: Teachers, school staff, and school leaders seeking practical, relationship-centered strategies for conflict resolution and management in school settings.

Course Overview
This transformative webinar series equips teachers and school leaders with essential skills to foster a culture of authentic relating and non-violent conflict resolution. Rooted in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), mediation techniques, the CINERGY Conflict Coaching Model, and authentic relating practices, the training empowers participants to reshape their approach to conflict - both personally and within their school communities. By developing these skills, educators will influence not only their own responses to conflict but also the broader school culture, fostering more empathetic, resilient, and connected school environments.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Recognize stress responses in themselves and students by understanding the nervous system’s reaction to conflict.
Understand the Window of Tolerance, Bruce Perrys 3 R’s and how they relate to successful conflict resolution, and practicing “Time-In”
Apply the 5 Pillars of Authentic Relating to build trust, deepen understanding, and foster compassion in classroom and staff interactions.
Develop self-regulation strategies and model these behaviors for students to support emotional resilience.
Lead and structure difficult conversations using practical prompts and frameworks that ensure respectful, solution-focused dialogue.
Promote school-wide cultural change by implementing conflict-resolution strategies that build a conflict-resilient learning environment.

Course Impact
Participants will leave with practical, immediately applicable tools to navigate and resolve conflicts effectively. This training aligns with the An Cosán Framework, supporting professional growth while empowering educators to model and teach conflict resilience. By integrating relational, communication-centered strategies, teachers will cultivate more supportive and empathetic school communities where both students and staff thrive.
