BIKING BAIRN'S MTB CAMPS (Age 7 TO 10 year olds)
Our MTB Camps are run in association with Hamsterley Forest - Forestry England.
If you want your bairn to get into riding mountain bikes then the BIKING BAIRNS MTB CAMPS are ideal for them, these camps are about having mountains of fun and good times riding bikes, whilst learning the essential skills required to tackle blue trails safely and confidently.
BIKING BAIRNS MTB CAMPS takes place on one 2.5 hour half-day session; and cover body position, safe braking, trail etiquette, corners and essential MTB skills. They are a great way for your bairn to develop the techniques to control their bikes.
Note: the content of these sessions are designed so your Bairns can do the Biking Bairns camp several time to develop their skills and have fun. The skills and trails covered can vary depending on the Bairns skill and fitness level - NB. Hamsterley Forest is not flat and to access trails and to ride some trails will require some amount of climbing.
The BIKING BAIRNS MTB CAMPS are ideal if your Bairn is already riding bikes and knows how to stand up whilst riding and use their brakes as a minimum, but equally caters for bairn’s who’re already keen young riders.

Consent, Safety and Medical form
Please can you complete a Consent, Safety and Medical (included with this information) for each participant and return via email cycle4adventure@gmail.com no later than 5.00pm two days prior to your booked session.
Note on e-bikes
Please note if you are doing any of our MTB coaching sessions or guided rides on an e-bike, you MUST be over 14 years of age and the bike must conform to British “pedalec” laws. Please contact me if you require further information.
