This is a general / level 2 workshop.
NOTE: DHIY will also host its Annual General Meeting for members during the Saturday lunch time.
Marios was inspired early in his yoga journey by Tricia Booth and Jeanne Maslen, who both encouraged him to follow the Iyengar yoga teacher training course at Manchester and District Institute of Iyengar Yoga. Having been a professional classical musician his whole life until then, he found that the concentration, discipline and self-practice needed in music could be applied to yoga in the same way. He qualified in 2002.
He has been a Senior Intermediate Level 3 (new level 3) teacher for many years, and continues to make visits to India to study with the Iyengar family at the Ramamani Memorial Institute in Pune, and also with Jawahar Bangera and Firooza Ali.
He now divides his time between Hertfordshire and Greece, and combines teaching local classes and yoga therapy with giving workshops all over the UK and Europe.

Please aim to arrive around 15 minutes before the start of the workshop to secure your place in the room, set up your mat, and stow your other belongings.
On Saturday we will break for an hour around 12.30-13.33. During this time you are welcome to bring a light lunch to eat. Note that we will be hosting the DHIY AGM at 12.45 in the hall for DHIY members.
On Sunday, we will have only a short break mid-morning, finishing by 13.30.
Complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided during breaks.

Cancellations earlier than two weeks before the event will be refunded, less a £3 administration fee.
Refunds will not be given for cancellations within 2 weeks of the event.
All attendees should have a minimum of one year of Iyengar yoga experience.
