Across the following 3 days (05/11/25, 26/01/26 and 23/03/26), Emma Turner will support you with your understanding of how children learn and how this aligns with effective curriculum design for your school’s unique setting and context. This programme will provide schools at all stages of development within their curriculum work with effective scaffolds and tools to develop and evaluate their approach to curriculum design and teaching and learning. Including aspects of cognitive science, research informed primary practice, best practice in principles of effective primary curriculum design, and models and exemplars developed for use with colleagues nationally and internationally, Emma will provide a comprehensive and supportive walkthrough of how to design a curriculum for the primary phase that is bespoke to each unique school.
