Bring some balance and harmony into your life with this classical Hatha yoga practice.
Hatha yoga is a classical interpretation of Yoga Asana practice and is focusing on postural alignment, and breathing techniques to channel vital energy sources, connecting breath, body and mind.
Classes include physical postures, breathing exercises or meditation practices, and deep relaxation techniques.
Hatha yoga classes provide an opportunity to stretch, unwind, and release tension, providing a good counterpoint to both busy lifestyles and cardio workouts, creating a sense of ease in your body, calm in your mind, and peace in your heart.

Classes are 60 minutes long and suitable for all levels, including beginners.

Instructions

CLASSES:

  • Classes are 60 minutes long, including meditation on the beginning and relaxation on the end.
  • Yoga mat or similar is essential.
  • Optional: at least one yoga block/a meditation stool/ a firm cushion to sit on, a blanket, a yoga strap or non-stretchy belt, and water to drink.
  • Wear something comfortable to move around in.
  • Shoes are not needed.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS:
-There is a small non refundable booking fee added at checkout.
-This class is available either block booking, meaning all classes in a term block (5 weeks) are paid for in advance, OR you can book individual classes, PAYG.

  • Block booking: Missed classes cannot be refunded or carried over to another course. You may be able to swap to another class for that week, please just ask me.
  • PAYG: Missed classes will only be refunded if cancelled more than 48hrs before the class. You can also transfer your payg ticket to an alternative class via the booking system online. -Abusive or unkind behaviour towards teachers or students will not be tolerated either online or at classes, and Yoga North East reserves the right to cancel your booking if it is felt that your behaviour is inappropriate.

PARKING:
-There is no parking at Warkworth Memorial Hall. A description of a local street parking is allowed but restricted. Please park with consideration for residents.
