Gentle Explorers Autumn Festival

Please note that each adult and child attending requires a ticket for this special event.

• If you would like to enter the Pumpkin Carving Competition, please bring your completed carved pumpkin with you on the day.
• Fancy dress is completely optional, but autumn, Halloween and woodland-themed costumes are very welcome!
• Refreshments, a variety of lovely stalls and face painting are available for an additional charge and are not included in your ticket price. While some sellers may be able to accept card payments, cash is preferred where possible as this helps our small businesses and keeps queues moving. Thank you for supporting local families and makers!

Please bring a lidded cup to keep our little explorers safe and reduce waste.

• Some activities may take place on the floor, so we recommend comfortable clothing suitable for play.
• Burridge Village Hall does not allow nappies to be put in their bins. Please use the small cream pedal bin marked 'Gentle Explorers'.
• During the event, your little one will remain your responsibility and should be closely supervised whilst interacting with our activities.
• We are a nut free venue.
• Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. Should we need to cancel the event, we'll offer an alternative or a refund.

🧸 Community Toy Swap ♻️
If you'd like to take part in our Community Toy Swap, please bring along one or more toys or books that are clean, safe, complete and in good condition. You'll receive a leaf token that can be exchanged during the event for other pre-loved items from the swap stall. It's a wonderful way to give toys a new home, reduce waste, and discover a new treasures to take home!

Please note:
• Damaged, broken or incomplete items cannot be accepted.
• Suitable for children aged 0-6 years.
• All swapped items are second-hand; parents remain responsible for checking suitability for their child.
• Any unclaimed items at the end of the event may be donated to a local charity or saved for a future swap.

👶 Pushchairs & Accessibility
We want this event to be welcoming to everyone. If you're able to baby-wear or have children who are happy to walk, we'd encourage this as space may be limited. However, pushchairs are absolutely welcome. Please let us know when booking if you'll be bringing one so we can plan the layout and ensure the venue remains comfortable and accessible for all families.
