An immersive 5-day in-person CPD training in Yin Yoga.
Yin yoga is a specialist field which stands unique among yoga practices and to understand and teach it properly and confidently requires time spent in studying its essential components.
NB: This course also has pre-course reading and also follow-on work (after the 5 day training) which requires you to plan a fully-sequenced Yin Yoga class and submit a class plan for evaluation. Further you are required to teach that class to your own students in your own time (or a group gathered for that sole purpose) and to submit a short, written account of your reflections on the experience.
You must be able to complete all work to obtain the certificate.

A comprehensive manual specific to this course is provided to you on the first day of training.
You must also have and bring : A Complete Guide to Yin Yoga - (The Philosophy and Practice of Yin Yoga) Bernie Clark
NB: to be able to teach Yin Yoga following the satisfactory completion of this course you must already be a qualified yoga teacher. This course is further specialist training for yoga teachers only (CPD) and is NOT a course which will allow you to teach yoga if you are NOT already a yoga teacher.
VENUE + DATES
This is an intensive, non-residential course over 5 days : Wednesday 9th July through to Sunday 13th July inclusive - course timings are 9am to 5pm each day with an hour's lunch break.
The venue for the course is an historic private farmhouse set in the rolling Essex countryside:- Elmdon Lee, Littlebury Green, Essex CB11 4XB.
There is ample free parking. The closest train station is Audley End (trains from London Liverpool Street or Cambridge) and is a short (5 min) taxi or car journey away
COURSE FEES
A deposit of £150 secures your place on this small-group intensive training.
The full course fee is £675 includes tea and refreshments
The full balance of £525 is to be paid by 8th June 2025. Instalment plans available if you prefer.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Your deposit is non refundable once paid. By paying your deposit you accept the terms under which this course is offered.
Cancellation of your place by you less than one month prior to the start date - all course fees are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances we may consider transferring your fee to a future course.
In the event that the course is cancelled (tutor illness or other intervening factor) you will receive 100% of your outlay including the deposit.
In the event that your submitted work or teaching practical does not meet the required standard, we reserve the right to withhold your certificate until such time as you resubmit your work. We are committed to you getting the most from this course and will provide guidance and feedback as to how to meet the standards and opportunity for you to re-submit written work or retake any practical.

Jacqueline Godfrey - Jac has been a student of yoga for nearly 3 decades and teaching yoga for almost 20 years. Her yoga school provides high-quality training and ongoing enrichment for yoga teachers and yoga practitioners wanting to dive deep and emerge to teach with confidence and mastery.
SPECIALIST ANATOMY TUTOR
Ann Goodin is a yoga teacher and a specialist in Yoga Therapy and advanced anatomy. Her passion lies in understanding the body from the inside out. Ann tutors in the anatomy modules.
BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH - Elmdon Lee is a farmhouse in the countryside. There is scope to use a microwave and keep your lunch refrigerated. ALSO : Around a 5 min drive away there is a cafe (The Mixing Shed) which is owned by the same people as Elmdon Lee. Food can be pre-ordered with a little notice to save waiting.
Once you have paid your deposit for the training you will receive a welcome email with the reading suggestions and how to prepare for your course.
Around one month before the training start date you will receive a link to download the video content (meridian-specific yin yoga classes).
