Join this 2.5 hour workshop with former Lord of the Dance lead and Dance Captain, Lucas Lawton.
The workshop will focus on learning and perfecting two different sections of the iconic Lord of the Dance rhythmic choreography.
This afternoon workshop is specifically for dancers who would be very confident joining Jig and a Swig's Intermediate+ and Relaxed Advanced Heavy Shoe Classes.

ABOUT LUCAS LAWTON
Lucas is a professional dancer and dance teacher from Montreal Canada. He began dancing at age 7 at the Bernadette Short School of Irish Dance. He worked his way up the many levels of competitive Irish dance and is a multiple Eastern Canadian Champion and has placed in the top five of every major Irish dance championship including 5th place at the World Championships in 2016.
In 2021, Lucas joined the cast of Lord of the Dance and was quickly promoted to lead dancer and dance captain, performing Michael Flatley's iconic role in stadiums around the globe. He is the first Canadian to perform the lead role, and was the 7th person since the 1990's to perform the iconic 'Feet of Flames' solo made famous by Michael Flatley.

Instructions
Dancers will need to wear heavy shoes, or soft shoes/trainers that they have not worn outside to travel to the class. Please bring a different pair of shoes to dance in.
Wear something comfortable you're happy to sweat in.
