ABOUT NURTURE NEST
Nurture Nest is a maternal wellness company based in Nairobi, dedicated to supporting women through the often-overlooked postpartum period, also known as the fourth trimester. Founded on the belief that mothers deserve just as much care and attention as their newborns, Nurture Nest exists to help restore the “village” around the modern mother.
We provide compassionate, professional support to families during the early weeks after birth through services such as overnight newborn care, postpartum recovery guidance, lactation support, and practical education for new parents. Our goal is to help mothers recover physically, adjust emotionally, and transition into motherhood with greater confidence and rest.
Beyond in-home care, Nurture Nest also creates spaces for learning and connection through prenatal preparation sessions, postpartum education, and community events that bring parents together.
At its heart, Nurture Nest is about ensuring that no mother has to navigate the fourth trimester alone. By combining evidence-based care with empathy and respect for each family’s unique journey, we aim to raise the standard of postpartum support for families across Kenya.
Please ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled session to allow time to settle down, and in case you have any questions beforehand for the teacher, you will get them answered. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may not be able to join the session.
On arrival, sanitiser provided and if you are new to studio, you will be required to fill a consultation form.
Kanga Studio provides yoga mats and props if you require them
There is plenty of parking available at Kanga Studio within the compound and on the grass outside the gate
There is a bathroom and toilet on site, and storage available for your belongings during your session
The studio mats, props and studio will be sanitised and disinfected after each session
