A welcoming and friendly class focusing on postnatal recovery for mum. Babies watch, sleep, feed, get involved or cuddle with mum (they often have their own ideas on the day so we go with the flow!).
Particular focus is given to strengthening the tummy muscles and pelvic floor and we will move in a way that helps to alleviate the aches and pains caused by feeding, lifting and rocking, that new mums often experience.
We will begin gently, building up to more strength and flexibility as the weeks go by. The class is very flexible and relaxed, and there is even a hot cup of tea available! You’ll also have the opportunity to meet other new mums and to socialise.
Suitable from 6/8 weeks following your baby's birth. Please have your GP sign off for gentle exercise appointment before booking.
All mats and props will be supplied. Please bring a blanket for baby to sit or lie on.
