Making Cordage & Learning to Lash

Join this fascinating workshop taught by Deanne Bednar with materials straight from nature. Learn the traditional craft of cording using several different local plants! Then learn several very useful knots and apply them to some small lashed model-making of your choice (ex. lashed ladder, A-frame Structure,). We will also make a few larger scale projects together. Handouts will give ideas! A very interesting, fun and practical class.
