Welcome to the inaugral Newbury Town Council Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament! If you can serve, return, rally and score then this tournament is perfect for you!
We will have plenty of trophies and prizes on offer at this National Tennis Association led tournament.
Newbury Town Council are proud to support local tennis players in utilising the state of the art courts at Victoria Park and pairing this tournament with the Victoria Park Family Fun Day will ensure plenty of eager participants!
If you are entering with a partner, both players must create a booking and add in their partner name on the booking form, if you do not have a partner leave the "doubles partner name" question on the booking form blank and we will assign you a partner on the day.
We will be competing in 25 minute matches with the tournament organiser tallying how many games each partner wins. At the end we will see which pairing has the most games! The scoring will be games of tennis with sudden death deuce. The receiving pair choose what side to receive serve on at deuce.
Niveau : Intermediate, Advanced
Keep in mind the weather conditions when choosing your outfit and make sure you bring a drink. Then all you need is a racket!
