Enrolment in the Playcentre Education NZ Cert Programme

New Learners can download an Education Enrolment Pack from the Playcentre Website before the start of the workshop.
https://www.playcentre.org.nz/learnwithus/playcentre-education-enrolment-pack/

An enrolment pack includes:
• an enrolment application form
• a consent to police vet form and
• a safety check form. A safety check required by the Children’s Act 2014 will be carried out so that it is completed before you finish the Playcentre Educator Award.

Note - You will also need to provide identity documents which show you are a domestic student. The information about this is on the website under ‘enrolment’ and in the enrolment pack.

https://www.playcentre.org.nz/learnwithus/enrolment-information/

Your ID documents need to be verified which can be done at the workshop by your tutor. Please bring your original ID documents and a photocopy of them to the first session.

– Primary ID documents are a Passport, full Birth Certificate or Citizenship Certificate.
– Secondary ID documents are a NZ Drivers licence or an 18+ card or a Community Services Card.
– If the documents are in different names you will need a change of name document – a marriage or civil union certificate – this is also helpful if your National Student Number (NSN) is in a previous name.

Students who wish to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning for a qualification earned outside of Playcentre should complete a RPL Application form which you will find in the attachments section of this event or email: moirasiobhan.tutor@playcentre.org.nz
