Our parent/carer wellbeing sessions are a gentle space to pause, breathe, and connect with others who truly get it. Each month we come together for a relaxed activity, a chat, and a chance to step out of the daily whirlwind in a way that feels safe, informal, and welcoming.
This month we’re having our first experience of Sound Healing.

Caring for a child with SEND often means living in a constant state of alertness. The soothing vibrations from sound healing can help the body shift out of “fight‑or‑flight” and into a calmer, more regulated state.
Deborah from Birmingham Holistic Health Centre will be using the powerful resonance of sound vibration, experience the pure magic of sound healing and relaxation.
As a long-standing professional singer and Holistic Therapist, Deborah listens through her spirituality to your body and soul and channels the wisdom of spirit through her voice, Himalayan singing bowls and crystal healing bowls.
Working in tandem with the body’s cells and chakra system to bring balance and realignment, Sound Healing instruments support a unique and powerful sound bath experience that is personally tailored to your specific needs at any given time.
The session offers the rare chance parent / carers get to fully switch off. No talking, planning or decision making necessary!
Please note no children will be able to attend these sessions
THERE IS A MINUMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS REQUIRED FOR THIS SESSION TO GO AHEAD
Please arrive 5 minutes early to check in with a SEND Socials representative. On the day we will take part in the sound healing as a group, we will be sat in chairs rather than lying down on yoga mats, please wear something comfortable.
