Sound Bath Kent and Helen Manente are joining forces to bring you a truly unique Sound Bath experience where ancient healing sounds meet classical flute.
The classical flute brings a delicate yet powerful element to the sound bath. Its clear, airy notes penetrate deep into the layers of sound produced by gongs and bowls, allowing for a harmonizing effect that resonates throughout the entire body. While the gongs and singing bowls produce rich, grounding frequencies that help calm the mind and release tension, the flute dances gracefully above, infusing the atmosphere with a sense of serenity and lightness.
This dynamic pairing is more than just a beautiful auditory experience; it’s a holistic practice that supports emotional wellbeing and mental clarity. The intricate harmonies foster a deep meditative state, encouraging participants to connect with their inner self and find peace amidst the chaos of everyday life. The sound bath creates a sanctuary where healing can occur, and the classical flute’s soothing melodies act as a gentle guide throughout the journey.
The doors will be closed and we will start the performance at 8pm. Please allow yourselves enough time for travel to the venue and parking. There is a small car park outside the venue. If it's full when you arrive and you have to park elsewhere, please think about the neighbours and local residents and park considerately. Due to the nature of the performance, we will not be able to come to the door to let you in after we have begun to play.
We recommend you bring with you a yoga/exercise mat if you have one, one or two pillows/cushions (one for under your head and the other for under your knees) and a covering. A sleep mask is also recommended to block out all the light, adding to the auditory experience.
When you enter the room there will be mats already laid out on the floor. Choose a free space and put your mat, if you have one, on top of ours together with your pillows/cushions and covering. Please place everything else against the wall at the back of the room, including water bottles, as I will be moving amongst with my instruments from time to time and don't want to trip over them!
SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE/APPLE WATCH OR ENABLE 'DO NOT DISTURB' so it won't go off while we play and detract from your (and everybody else's) enjoyment.
