This Talk will tell you the story of the first Bible produced in Welsh under the oversight of William Morgan and why it is in Westminster Abbey's Library. It is now in Wales for the first time, in St Davids Cathedral. It can be viewed in the Cathedral Treasury exhibition at any time the Cathedral is open (unless it is being used in a service or for study).
After the half hour Talk, the 1588 Bible will be seen as well as a much used 1620 Welsh Bible.
The Talk will be held in the St Thomas Becket Chapel, off the north transept, near the Cathedral Treasury.
