Antipasti Plates with Michelle There are no rules in this one. You’ll start with a slab of clay and a rough idea, and end up with a plate that’s entirely your own — organic, tactile, and genuinely useful. The kind of thing that looks brilliant loaded with olives when friends come over. Even better when someone asks where you got it and you can say you made it yourself. Michelle will show you how to work a slab into a free-form plate with sculptural folds and curves, then finish the edges and prepare it for glazing. From there it goes into the kiln, and you collect your finished piece a couple of weeks later. No two come out the same. That’s rather the point.
