The Dad Nest 🩵
A relaxed, hands on space for new and expectant dads to learn, chat and build confidence before and after baby arrives.
We’ll cover practical newborn skills, settling, feeding, nappy changing, understanding baby’s cues and those everyday moments that can feel a little daunting.
All in a friendly, no pressure environment.
Come along, meet other dads and leave feeling a little more prepared and confident for dad life.
Instructions
A few things to know before you arrive 🩵
• Dads are encouraged to come along on their own, but partners are very welcome to attend too. If you do bring your partner, we kindly ask that they take a little step back and allow Dad to get involved, have a go and ask questions, this session is all about building his confidence.
• Come comfortable! We’ll be getting hands-on with practical newborn skills, so wear something you can move around in.
• No previous newborn experience is needed, whether you’ve never held a baby before or just want a confidence boost, you’re very welcome.
•We will be using dolls.
• Most importantly, there’s no pressure to know everything. Ask questions, have a laugh and enjoy meeting other dads who are on the same journey.
