Building an ensemble over the course of six days, Driscoll will lead the group through warm-ups, prompts, play and scores, responding to what emerges between us. We will experiment with performance as a shapeshifting energetic practice. Loosening our perceptual, physical, expressive and vocal rigidity, we will commit, feel to excess and practice rigorous play. We will delve into sensation and imagination practices, work with touch as a portal, explore the subtle body, try to become nobody and everybody and most importantly - be and make something together. How is sensation a portal to whole worlds? How does the act of imagining itself create a choreography that is constantly altering our bodies and worlds? Can we sensitize to the emergent dynamic of forces moving within and between us? How do we cultivate the ability to tune our presence, shapeshift, and shimmer?
