Aer0camp is a progressive daily activity 10am-4pm where we make flying things and test them out. Scale modelling is based on historic aircraft using laser cutting with cardboard, styrene and MDF.
Observation of scale radio controlled models inform about aerodynamic principles. The activities are experientially based and learning what characteristics improve flight. Laser cutting facilitates rapid making of many airframes without the need for traditional craft tools. Friendly and fun competitions on our own spacious site (weather permitting) give the opportunity for rigorous testing! Indoor flying in our marquee if the weather is poor. This suits children who love making things.
Family camping is available for £10/night per family those who wish to stay on site overnight. (Basic facilities only - no hookup)

From 'falling' to 'flying'
Make a range of gliders from our unique curriculum to learn the principles of flight.
Model scale aircraft using our Laser cutting facility.
Test and improve your aircraft.
Explore powered flight with capacitor motors.
Have a go with Radio controlled trainer aircraft. (Weather permitting)
Compete in the Aer0golf challenge.
Please note that a minimum number of attendees is required for this course to run.
Activities will take place from our bus, large Marquee and flying field.
Please bring clothes suitable for the weather and packed lunch with drinks for your own dietary requirements.
Family camping ticket for 5 family members. Non participants requested to be off site during the daily sessions. 10am-4pm
No alcohol on site.
Barbeques /open fires by arrangement
