Informations

Official Top Soccer nomination to a big soccer tournament in Calgary.

There will be:

  • a minimum three games
  • throughout four days
  • across four locations

Qualification criteria:

  • year of birth 2015-2017 (required)
  • Top Soccer alumni: Any medal (bronze and higher)
  • new players: All season players or drop-ins (minimum five game days)

Locations:

  • Shane Homes West Soccer Dome: 11014 Bearspaw Dam Rd NW, Calgary, AB T3L 1S4
  • Calgary Soccer Centre: 7000 48 St SE, Calgary, AB T2C 4E1
  • Shouldice Athletic Park: 1515 Home Rd NW, Calgary, AB T3B 0V8
  • Macron Performance Centre: 111 Exploration Ave SE, Calgary, AB T3S 0B6

Schedule will be available on 19th March.

Niveau : Intermediate

Instructions

Important! Please read as the tournament requires different equipment and rules.

Equipment:

  • soccer cleats
  • shin guards
  • shorts (no pockets)
  • no jewelry
  • jerseys will be provided/returned on each game day

Significant game information:

  • format: 7v7 boardless (i.e. side lines enforced, much safer for the players)
  • game time: 2x 25 minutes (2 minutes half-time)
  • free kicks: All indirect except penalty
  • game entry from the sidelines: Pass-in/dribble-in (direct goal not allowed)
