💚 Willow Heart Workshop in The Walled Garden 🌿
Spend a relaxed, creative day in the heritage setting of the Walled Garden, learning the traditional craft of willow weaving.
Guided by local willow artist Heather McDermott, you’ll create your own beautiful woven willow hearts to take home. Perfect for weddings, anniversaries, gifts, or adding a touch of natural charm to your home or garden.
This is a gentle, hands-on day, surrounded by spring blooms, birdsong, and the simple pleasure of working with natural materials.
🌿 During the day you’ll also:
• Wander through our Salley Garden and learn about sustainably grown willow
• Enjoy morning coffee with fresh homemade scones
• Sit down to a delicious seasonal lunch
• Finish with afternoon tea and our famous lemon drizzle cake
No experience is needed, just an interest in creativity and nature.

🌿 Our workshops may take place partly outdoors, depending on the weather and will involve a walk to the Salley garden. Please come prepared with warm layers, sturdy footwear, and perhaps a raincoat ...the garden has its own kind of beauty in every season. 🥾🧤

If a workshop proceeds as scheduled, we regret that we cannot offer refunds for unused tickets due to circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather or travel issues.
