Parent/Carer Course: What I Wish I Knew Earlier (4 week course)
Informations
A four week course which covers the following:
Week 1 - Understanding ADHD (what it is, commonly co-occurring conditions & dispelling myths)
Week 2 - Behaviour as communication and de-escalation strategies
Week 3 - Behaviour management, ADHD medication and support in school
Week 4 - Financial support, self-care strategies and building support networks
The course will run weekly in an evening from Thursday 23rd April to Thursday 14th May. It is recommended that attendees are available to attend all sessions.
Our Halifax office is on the third floor and only accessible via steps so please bear this in mind before booking a place.
Refunds can only be given if Stripes cancels the course.

Instructions
Please arrive for 5:45pm to check in; the course will start promptly at 6pm as there is a lot to cover. We aim to finish the course content by 8:30pm.
Notebooks and pens will be provided.
If you need to cancel your place, you MUST do this through the Book When system as this automatically notifies the next person on the waiting list that there is a place available. Please do not attempt to cancel your place via phone, text or email as this may not give us time to offer the place to someone else.
