Full Hypnobirthing course for you and your birth partner- 10 hours in total. Split over 3 sessions: 23rd/27th/30th July. The course will provide you with all the knowledge and tools for you to feel empowered and ready for your birth.
The wonderful Zara from Connected Mother & Baby will be guiding you through a wonderful curriculum which covers:
-How we are conditioned to fear birth & the impact this can have
-Self-hypnosis as a tool for reprogramming the subconscious
-The hormones of birth & what can effect them
-The role of the birth environment
-Tools for a positive birth; comfort measures, relaxation & breathing techniques
-The role of the birth partner; practical strategies to use during labour
-How the maternity system works
-Common interventions you may be offered: benefits & risks
-Your Birth Rights & advocating for yourself
-How you can make informed decisions
-The physiology of birth & how best to facilitate the process
-Variations of normal
-Birth planning
All participants will receive a hypnobirthing workbook filled with the tools & techniques covered in the course, positive birth stories & useful templates, 5x Hypnobirthing audios, a goodie bag & ongoing what's app support.
Course will take place at Yo Studio and refreshments will be provided throughout the sessions. There will be a lunch break during the Saturday session and there is Tesco and a very good bakers just up the road if you fancy a stroll!
