Our Junior Art club runs every Saturday in term-time 9.30am to 11am, and is especially for children 5 to 10 years. The class combines fun and creativity while developing technical art and craft skills. Each half term has a theme based project written by the tutors - recently we’ve had a go at pointillism, portraiture and print-making.
We ensure the children create alongside merging artists who inspire and enthuse, trying out techniques and using materials that schools generally don’t teach until later years of High School.
Our Globe tutors running these courses are experienced teachers, with DBS and first aid training.
Please note: As we are heading into the warmer months and now have an outdoor space at our new site, we kindly ask that your child is prepared and dressed appropriately for the weather before every session in case we create artwork outdoors.
This includes, suncream already applied, appropriate clothes & footwear, sun hats, and coats when slightly colder. If your child requires bug spray or hayfever tablets, please make sure that they have already had this before class.
When accessing and exiting Globe 1 via to overflow carpark, please make sure that the gate is closed properly behind you. Thank you for understanding.
