Conscious Connected Breathwork has the possibility of bringing about profound healing by opening up the mind, body and spirit. Along with deep personal insight. It also creates balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems which is crucial to modern day living.

By using this breathing technique we activate our sympathetic nervous system (our fight or flight response) which is where we tend to hold blocked emotions and trauma, allowing us to gently integrated these energies and heal.

Consciously engaging the breath can also offer the following benefits:

Improved immune response
Relief from stress and anxiety through body/breath awareness
Improved sleep and well being
Releasing old trauma and trigger patterns
Freedom from limiting beliefs and behaviours
A sense of personal empowerment
More present moment awareness within the body
Important note: There are a few contra-indications for this work so please email me before this session at info@bonniesbreathwork.co.uk as I will need to recommend a modified practise for you. Your are still perfectly ok to join the session.

These are:

Pre-existing heart conditions, delicate pregnancy, COPD, Epilepsy, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, psychosis, PTSD, high blood pressure or very low blood pressure (with a history of fainting) and recent major surgery.

Please bring a blanket, yoga mat, eye mask and a journal and pen.
