Details

Halleys Comet! The most famous interloper of them all is the parent comet of the Eta Aquarid Meteor Shower.

A good display is expected from this shower as we head into the night.

Under our wonderful dark skies, we can expect to see as many as 30 - 40 meteors per hour as the tiny dust grains left behind by Halley's comet interact with our atmosphere as a flash of light!

As well as the dazzling show overhead we will utilise our array of telescopes to view the universe in stunning resolution.
