A one-day introduction to bowl carving to carve your own small bowl.

Participant will use hand tools - axes, adzes, gauges, and knives - to carve this small wood out of green wood. We’ll focus on the safe and effective use of tools so that you can create your very own bowl, learning how to shape both the inside and outside of the bowl. We’ll also talk about materials, discuss best drying techniques and best finishes for your dry bowl.

All tools and materials are provided. This workshop can be quite energetic and most of it is done standing up.
