The State of Water

Details

Join us as we host Peter Chand and Kirsten Milliken for a night of stories and folklore as part of the Scottish International Story Festival's Go Local programme.

Water moves through all things; rivers run overland to the sea, rain rises into the clouds and oceans are highways.

In this artistically created piece, Peter Chand and Kirsten Milliken seamlessly blend stories, songs and folklore, from their respective Indian and Scottish traditions about lake nymphs, enchanted waves, hidden realms and the waters connecting us all.

Audience reviews:
"Enthralling immersive collection of tales that wash over you"
"The darkness, the kindness, the light, the fear, it was like waves rolling"
"Such a magical experience"

Follow the A811 into Arnprior. Take the turning onto the B8034 towards Port of Menteith. Follow the road until you reach the sign for Dykehead - and turn left here (signposted to Cardross holiday cottages and Green Aspirations).
