Tristan Gooley, author of How to Read Water The Walker's Guide to Outdoor Clues & Signs / The Secret World of Weather joins us to talk about reading nature’s clues and signs and to answer YOUR questions about what to look for when you go to the beach, lake or river.

This 1hr live webinar will be give you, the audience the opportunity to pose your questions about some of the important signs to look for before going sea swimming, stand up paddleboarding or any other activity on the water. Steve and Norma will be there to guide the discussions and have a wide range of questions for him from their own exerente. There is a small £3 registration fee which will cover the hosting fees and will be donated to tSurfers against Sewage (closed by Tristan)

About Tristan:
Tristan is a Sunday Times best-selling author and the only person to have both sailed and flown across the Atlantic solo and has studied natural navigation with the Toureg, Bedouin and Dayak peoples in some of the harshest environments on Earth. Tristan specialises in taking queues from the natural world in order to make a mind map of our surroundings.

Tristan has led expeditions in five continents, climbed mountains in Europe, Africa and Asia, sailed small boats across oceans and piloted small aircraft to Africa and the Arctic. He has walked with and studied the methods of the Tuareg, Bedouin and Dayak in some of the remotest regions on Earth.

He is the only living person to have both flown solo and sailed singlehanded across the Atlantic and is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation and the Royal Geographical Society.
