Details

Welcome to Forest Explorers, a bushcraft programme for 6-11 year olds run by Tinder Sticks! Develop your outdoor confidence and skills by having fun at Hainault Forest.

How and why did our ancestors use fire? What do we use it for today? How can you use the forest around you to create a campfire? Come along and find out!

Instructions

Each child must be supervised by an adult, in a ratio of 2 children to 1 adult.

A ticket only needs to be booked per child, not for the supervising adult.

Please wear sturdy shoes, bring a bottle of water and wear appropriate clothing for the weather. As we will be having a fire please ensure you are not wearing loose hanging clothing and you have a hair tye with you.

Unfortunately this event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs, due to the uneven terrain of the forest.
