An overview financial training session is for Councillors designed to give them understanding of their duties regarding the council's finances.

Topics include roles and responsibilities, setting a budget and precept, financial control, The Annual Governance & Accountability Return and the Internal and External Audit

Instructions

Please have a copy of your last year budget and accounts to hand.

Please join from a PC, laptop or tablet rather than a mobile phone. This is to ensure you can see the screen properly.

An email will be sent to all delegates providing the joining link details for this session before the course and a reminder 6 hours before. Please ensure you have receipt of this within normal business hours on the day of the event, or contact the Hampshire ALC Team to avoid any disruption to your accessibility of the session.
