Summary

This course is run over two consecutive half days. Attendance is required at both sessions to complete the course.

Part 1: Tuesday 10th February 9.15am - 12.30pm
Part 2: Wednesday 11th February 9.15am - 12.30pm

This course deals with common problems, issues and mistakes and the costs that can be realised by burial authorities. The course will tell you how to avoid these costs and create potential new income streams.

Areas covered by the course include the Local Authorities Cemeteries Order1977 legislation, admin processes, an overview of grave digging, memorials and exhumations as well as the granting, extension and transfer of exclusive rights of burial (EROB).

Suitable Audience

Local Council cemetery staff, and those with cemeteries responsibilities, but who are not involved in their day-to-day management.
