An introductory session for Clerks and Officers designed to give to an overview of the Councils' duties regarding financial management and the role of the Responsible Financial Officer.

The course will cover relevant legislation and guidance, account preparation and the importance of the audit process along with internal controls and risk management.

This course is aimed at Clerks and Officers who need a better understanding of financial processes.
