Centenary Talk: Local Woodland Craft and Industries

Details

Tim Winter, Local history author

Tim’s illustrated talk explores the remarkable specialist craftsmen who once worked in Haslemere and the surrounding area, creating hoops and besoms, turning wood, burning charcoal, and harvesting oak bark and faggots from the local coppice woodlands.
