60% of post-menopausal women experience bouts of insomnia,
often caused by night sweats, increased anxiety, blood sugar
dysregulation, stress. In this talk registered nutritional therapist
Laura Southern will explain how hormonal changes in the
menopause might be contributing to insomnia and offer simple,
natural steps to help combat it. Laura will explain how eating at
certain times can support sleep and discuss specific foods and
nutrients that have been shown to promote drowsiness. There will
be explanations of the circadian rhythm, and lifestyle interventions
to support getting a good night’s rest. There will lots of practical tips
and time for questions too
