Introduction to Safeguarding Adults and Children

Join us for our Safeguarding Introductory Course and gain the essential knowledge and confidence needed to protect vulnerable adults and safeguard children.

Designed specifically for staff and volunteers working in the community and voluntary sector, this course provides a clear and practical introduction to safeguarding responsibilities and best practice.

You will develop an understanding of how to recognise signs of abuse, understand legal and organisational responsibilities, and follow effective reporting and referral procedures.

Delivered by experienced trainer Mel Parr, the course features interactive sessions that encourage discussion, reflection, and active participation.

No prior safeguarding knowledge is required. Whether you are new to your role or seeking a refresher, this course offers a valuable opportunity to build safer environments and make a meaningful difference in your community.

• You cancel your place with more than 48 hours’ notice.

We cannot refund your deposit if:
• You cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice.
• You do not show up on the day of the training.
