Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Training - Voluntary Sector Support

Creating an open and inclusive environment for your organisation can have many benefits for staff, volunteers and service users. The Social Justice Collective, via NCVO, will be running an online training course especially for organisations in Horsham District.

The course will cover:
• Understand key Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) concepts and terminology.
• Understand the context and need for this work within our sector.
• Assess where your organisation is on its journey towards EDI.
• Explore creating a compelling EDI vision.
• Begin to set tangible goals.

Session 1 will be an interactive session, with more of a theoretical focus. Session 2 will be an interactive session with a focus on how you can apply EDI to your own organisation.

This course aims to support senior leaders and trustees to learn and plan how to work towards EDI in their organisation’s culture, practice and services.

NCVO consultants specialise in training and advice and are experienced in working with the local voluntary sector.

Cost: Free (£10 deposit when booking, refundable on attendance)

Deposit information
We will take a £10 deposit to secure your place on this training course. Your deposit will be refunded if:
• You attend the training course.
• You cancel your place with more than 48 hours notice.

We cannot refund your deposit if:
• You cancel with less than 48 hours notice.
• You do not show up on the day of the training.

Online Training
This training will be done online via Zoom. You will be sent a link to join prior to the start of the first session.

Please ensure that you book under the name of the person who will be attending as we can only admit those who have signed up.
