Horsley Village Hall (Gloucestershire), Priory Fields, Horsley, Stroud, GL6 0PT

Details

Join Ruth Liengaard for this fun and creative workshop. Ruth is an artist, gardener, and long-time Horsley resident. Some of her work will be on display in the Exhibition.

A lantern making workshop with Ruth Liengaard with the theme Towards the Light, inspired by snowdrops, tadpoles or other early spring visitors.

We will be working with willow to make a frame, putting in any lights, then covering that with special "wet strength tissue paper". Then comes the decorating with a choice of using transparent inks, coloured tissue paper and various printing techniques to create a beautiful lantern to display and take home.

Please bring your choice of LED light to put inside and. a bamboo or stick to carry your lantern aloft.

Suitable for adults or accompanied children over 6.
