This practical workshop will provide an overview of how to conduct and manage a fair internal investigation, from gathering and assessing evidence, through to presenting findings.

The session also outlines good practice, compliance and consistency in handling discipline and grievance.

By the end of the course you will:

• Understand the legal background, burden of proof and rights of the employee
• Understand the purpose and stages of disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Know the responsibilities of the Investigating Officer and how to fulfil them
• Be clear about stages of an investigation
• Develop your listening and questioning techniques
• Know your responsibilities when writing the report and presenting findings

COURSE COST £195 per person
