This course will provide you with an overview of how to effectively recruit a new employee to your school, highlighting key legislation and the pitfalls. We will also cover how to welcome your new employee into the workplace through induction to ensure a successful start.

By the end of the course you will:

• • Know how to advertise a post, shortlist effectively, conduct an interview and pre-employment checks
• • Understand what to include in an induction for your new employee(s)
