You are invited to come along and join a yoga experience that’s different from the physical asana practice (which most of us are familiar with).
Kirtan comes from the Bhakti Yoga Tradition, it is an ancient practice, originating in India.
When we practice Kirtan we essentially entering into a meditation using the repetition of mantra, sound and rhythm.
It is a practice of coming together, using our voices to connect inwardly to our hearts, connecting to each other, and potentially sending our heart energy out into the world around us.
Very good for busy minds, to bring an inner sense of love and joy. Perfect to ‘unplug’ from the external and ‘plug in to your self’.
No need to be able to sing in tune or to have any prior knowledge or experience!
