If you are new to pottery but don't know where to start / want a fun first throwing pottery experience then this is the class for you.
In a small class of up to 5 students, you'll start with the preparation of clay, then following a demonstration by the tutor, you will begin your own throwing, guided and supported at all the stages.
You will have a wheel each for the full length of the lesson and this gives you the ability to focus on and immerse yourself in the whole experience.
Minimális szint: Beginner
Everything you need for the class is provided here so just bring yourself. Throwing can be a messy business but clay washes out no problem, so any clothes are suitable and we provide aprons, towels and large sponges.
As this is just a 2 hour taster session, you can make as many pots as you can manage and then you can choose your 3 best pots. The tutor will ensure they are fired ready for you to come back and glaze at one of our glazing sessions which you can book into. If you would like us to glaze them, an additional fee of £10 will be required to be paid on the day.
Students are kindly requested to help a bit with cleaning the wheels, and tools used during the class, the last 10 minutes are set aside for this task.
