Tree Babies is our class for parents and babies that combines babywearing, forest bathing and mindfulness in the beautiful surroundings of Wepre Park.
It is a different kind of class, as much for you as the adult as for your baby, focussed on connecting with yourself, each other and nature.
Each class includes grounding and mindfulness exercises, sensory exploration, forest bathing, seasonal crafts and time to socialise with a hot cuppa (we love Pukka herbal teas but have a range of drinks available with dairy and non-dairy milk).
You can carry your baby in a sling or carrier for all or part of the class. If you need to borrow a sling you can tick on the booking form and Lizzy will be in touch to discuss your needs. Borrowing a sling for the class is free, but if you'd like to keep it longer to take home, hire fees apply. If you have your own sling Lizzy can also help you to get it safe and comfy. Babywearing is not essential though and the site is accessible with a good pram/pushchair.
This five week block of classes runs weekly from 10th September to 15th October but please note there is a break on 8th October as I have an existing commitment. 22nd October is a contingency date in case of any cancellations due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
At your first class you’ll receive a personalised welcome gift.
Tree Babies is suitable for parents/caregivers with babies up to around 12 months old (this is just a guide, so please check if you aren't sure it will be suitable by emailing lizzyallenforestschool@gmail.com). Very mobile babies may prefer our Nature Tots Forest School sessions.

Adult(s) and twins
You can use this ticket to bring twins to Tree Babies, either alone or with another adult for no extra cost. You can all fully participate in the class.

How to find us:
Please park in the main car park, which has plenty of free parking - use the postcode CH5 4HL in your Sat Nav (note there is a height restriction of 2.26m / 7'5''). Disabled parking for blue badge holders is available along the drive closer to the Visitor's Centre.
Session are held in the Education Area, which is around a 5 minute walk from the car park along the main drive. There's a map here with directions or watch this video to see where to go. The entrance to the Education Area is at What 3 Words ///boxer.tightrope.mentioned.
Toilets and baby change facilities are located in the Visitors Centre daily and Sports Pavilion on weekends and school holidays.
